Shared adventures are just better.

Hi, I’m Stacy Jo.

I write A Hippie Chick as a creative space to share stories, nature, music, and life’s soulful moments. I’m an Atlanta native who loves growing daylilies and hiking to waterfalls with my husband, Greg. You’ll often find us with the Jeep top down and the music turned up.

Some of my favorite memories are from the creek behind my childhood home, catching crawdads with my little brother, and sitting in the shade of a dogwood tree. That sense of wonder still guides me today.

Now, with our three grown kids off on their own adventures, I’m writing from a place of reflection and rediscovery.

A Hippie Chick is all about living creatively, consciously, and letting a sprinkle of whimsy guide the way. I’m so glad you’re here. Drop me a line anytime.

A gorgeous representation of community.

Don’t miss the Featured Post, Peace, Love, and the Culture of Us, featuring the incredible Yo-Yo Ma. He plays his famous Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major. This video showcases a fantastic collection of clips from talented people around the world, highlighting their unique expressions and the ways they unite their communities. It inspired me to start my blog, where I share observations about our community, with the hope of fostering a connection among us all.
