As a child, my family spent weeks driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains in our van with a rainbow unicorn. We visited artists from my parents' gallery and participated in mindful Unitarian retreats, all while camping surrounded by natural beauty. Life is more conventional now, and I kept my family’s open-minded beliefs.
