This little girl knows what matters. At once silly and serious, Karen Beaumont's joyful text and David Catrow's vibrant illustrations encourage kids to appreciate everything about themselves, inside and out.

I substitute taught a kindergarten class yesterday, and unfortunately, the lesson plans didn't reach me until almost the end of the day. I should keep a list of books like I Like Myself on my iPad for moments like this, since its rhymes and wild illustrations about self-love would be a big hit with kindergarteners.
