Who Snuck Into My House and Saw My Soul Dancing?

The Little Girl Still Dancing in Me

I’m in my 50s now, but this tiny dancer? She’s still in me, twirling across the living room. I stumbled across this video (yes, it’s technically a commercial, but who cares?), and it felt like someone had peeked into my soul. Joy, rhythm, and a love of movement never really leave us. We can’t let fearless expression be pushed aside, either. This is dedicated to all of the talented dancers I’ve met along the way, whether I was five or fifty-five.

A Hippie Chick doesn’t just walk through life — she dances barefoot, with flowers in her hair and questions in her heart.
