Peep Show: Painting My Very First Watercolor Chick

I’ve been trying out watercolors for the first time over the past few days. The mess is kinda keeping me away from my usual encaustic and mixed media work. My first watercolor chick has hatched. It’s not perfect, but I’m okay with that now. I actually like it and I’m sharing it to encourage everyone to have fun and just experiment with art. My goal is to paint a Bullet Chick like a Bullet Journal to express what’s going on in my day.

Black scribble, blue watercolor, gold feathers with a few white flowers. Anything goes, with my goal of painting a Bullet Chick (like a Bullet Journal) to express what’s going on in my day.
