My Sweet Lord was my original answer. However, I also love My Guitar Gently Weeps, appreciating the reflective approach of “the quiet Beatle.” H’s not afraid to offer a song of purity and authenticity.

…that being said. I didn’t choose 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' originally because I couldn’t separate the song from the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performance featuring Prince, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Dhani Harrison, and Steve Winwood. Guitar legends, especially Prince, give everything they have, and it’s stunning.
