What is A Hippie Chick’s Theme Song, George?

The theme song for A Hippie Chick had to be one of George Harrison’s.

I love a lot of George Harrison’s songs. It was hard to pick just one, but when someone asked me about my blog’s theme song, my first answer was “My Sweet Lord.”

I also really like “My Guitar Gently Weeps” and appreciate the thoughtful style of “the quiet Beatle.” He isn’t afraid to share songs that feel pure and genuine.

Still, I didn’t pick “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” because I always think of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame performance with Prince, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Dhani Harrison, and Steve Winwood. Those guitar legends, especially Prince, put their all into it, and it’s amazing to watch. But even though that show was incredible and honored George Harrison, it didn’t capture the gentle feeling his songs usually give listeners.
