A Father's Day Envo-Gram for Bing
Father’s Day 2025
Father's Day was beautiful for relaxing in the shade by the lake near my parents' house. Later, we enjoyed making bead garden stakes with my aunt, who lives in assisted living, and my uncle, who is in a nursing home. This little surprise meant so much to all of us. We left two garden stakes to add color to the garden at the nursing home. It turned out to be a perfect day.
Dear Bing,
Happy Father’s Day!
Thank you for everything you did before I could remember, large and small. And thank you for all that came after, too. As the mother of your incredible grandchildren, I understand the sacrifices a parent makes every day without hesitation.
Recently, I’ve realized that there are ideas you are taught in life and qualities that seem magically passed down through DNA. While no one can deny our physical similarities, you and Mom taught me the most important lesson of all: to be kind.
Thank you for teaching me to see beauty in life! Life would be dull if I didn’t notice the smallest details in a work of art, a moment of pride in my students, or the morning dew on a daylily.
I came across I Love Dad with The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Sometimes, this happens when you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was Brett’s and my favorite book. We were fascinated by the holes in the pages, especially the illustrations. The themes of transformation and hope illustrated by Eric Carle are one reason I surround myself with images of butterflies today. 🦋
So, Happy Father's Day, and I love you! I Love Dad with The Very Hungry Caterpillar says it with text and colorful illustrations that leap from the pages. It shows something else you’ve taught me—that the simple parts of life are profound.
Love, Stacy Jo
In peace and love, Stacy Joyfully 🦋
