A Modern Hippie Blog About Life, Family,
Creativity, and Outdoor Living
As a child, my family spent weeks driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains in our van with a rainbow unicorn. We visited artists from my parents' gallery and participated in mindful Unitarian retreats, all while camping surrounded by natural beauty. Life is more conventional now, and I kept my family’s open-minded beliefs.
A Hippie Chick is a lifestyle blog where I share posts on nature, creativity, family, and finding beauty in everyday moments.

The Adjustment Bureau Dance Scene
I feel truly thankful for the diverse dance styles I’ve explored along my journey. The movie The Adjustment Bureau questions the concept of free will, but what really captivates me is the stunning choreography.
“An Angel Takes Wing” encaustic artwork
The original concept was to create an encaustic painting depicting Saint Bernard of Montjoux. It felt fitting to paint him since he is the patron saint of climbers, hikers, backpackers, and skiers. Greg and I love to climb, hike, and backpack. Maybe we need a Saint watching now and again.
AI Rendered: My Digital Self in Motion
One day Ben took a quick picture of me. I’ve been exploring AI and decided to have TikTok animate that photo.
