I grew up on mountain road trips in a unicorn-decorated van, tagging along as my parents visited artists and practiced mindfulness in Unitarian retreats. Those beginnings shaped this space, where I share stories and ideas about art, nature, culture, and the beautiful chaos of family life.

I recently watched "Rules Don't Apply," a fascinating dive into the world surrounding Howard Hughes rather than just his life. The exceptional cast truly brought the story to life. What stuck with me the most was the charming and clever song that beautifully tied everything together.

I feel truly thankful for the diverse dance styles I’ve explored along my journey. The movie The Adjustment Bureau questions the concept of free will, but what really captivates me is the stunning choreography.
“An Angel Takes Wing” encaustic artwork
The original concept was to create an encaustic painting depicting Saint Bernard of Montjoux. It felt fitting to paint him since he is the patron saint of climbers, hikers, backpackers, and skiers. Greg and I love to climb, hike, and backpack. Maybe we need a Saint watching now and again.
